Lots of people break big news over Twitter. For Jessica Simpson, the latest dish is nothing short of heartbreaking.

Simpson’s dog, Daisy a maltese-poodle mix, was taken by a coyote yesterday, reports MSNBC.com. The 29-year-old singer tweeted about the incident last night. “My heart is broken because a coyote took my precious Daisy right in front of our eyes. HORROR! We are searching. Hoping. Please help!” she wrote on her Twitter page.Simpson also posted a Twitpic of a “Reward Offered” poster featuring a photo of the carmel-colored pup and asking anyone with information about the missing dog to get in touch via e-mail.

“We heard yelling and screaming coming from the direction of Jessica’s house around 9 p.m.,” an unidentified neighbor told the Boston Globe. “I can only imagine that it was that moment that it happened because the next day we saw posters up around the neighborhood announcing that Jessica had lost her dog to a coyote. It’s so sad.”

The Boston Globe adds that it’s not the first time Jessica has tweeted about Daisy. Last month, she wrote on her twitter page that Daisy was smitten with a dog named Bella. “Daisy and her best friend Bella back together again. Lesbian lovas forever!” she wrote.

Deep within the graveyard of butterflies, there moves a flutter of hope. And the awestruck nature-lover, bewildered at the miraculoustriumph, captures a quick moment of the blithe spirits flight for posterity.Kushal Choudhury, a young lepidopterologist and lecturer at Kokrajhar Science College, has spotted a rare breed of swallowtail butterfly considered extinct at Ultapani Reserve Forest. The jungle, under Haltugaon forest division, is notorious for being the deathbed of hundreds of these winged creatures.

Choudhury, who has been working on a butterfly project since 2002 and is researching on swallowtail butterflies for his PhD since 2008, said, “The Yellow Crested Spangle (Papilio Elephenor Doubleday) was resighted after a long gap of 100 years in Ripu-Chirang Wildlife Sanctuary (RCWS) that extends between 89:554-90:304E and 27:154-26:354N in the Bodoland Territorial Council of western Assam.”

She hoarded thousands of items in her house in Southampton, Hants, and had to put other items in storage because her friends bought her so many dalmatian-themed gifts. She has now lost count of exactly how many spotty items she owns but estimates it is around 3,500.Her ‘fetish’ with spots went so far she even got her husband Chess to paint black spots on her white Fiesta and her white Smart car.
