A fluffy dog living in China’s Guangxi province has the most unusual baby nipping at her side: a kitten.According to Fame photo agency, the canine, who belongs to a woman named Granny Meng, had puppies just a few month ago and Meng gave them away to friends and neighbors. When Meng received an adorable orange kitten from a friend recently, the dog immediately stepped in as Mom.The pair have been like two peas in a pod: If the kitten is hungry, it scratches at the dog, who lies down and gives the wee kitty some milk. They also eat and cuddle in the same den — how sweet!

Yes the story is cute, but what concerns me is that the dog is unspayed and producing puppies, when millions of dogs are destroyed each year due to overpopulation. Then now her puppies are unaltered and will produce even more unwanted animals! Both dogs and cats, both females and males, all need to be spayed and neutered!

Speaking about kittens, mine did something so cute today. She keeped jumping around trying to chase a fly and eventually got dizzy and started walking funny. I wish I video taped it because it was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.
