AMY WINEHOUSE has handed over her beloved moggies to a cattery because she was struggling to look after them.Days before she jetted off to Jamaica on Monday, Wino called an animal shelter and asked them to collect her pets.She once had up to 11 cats running wild around her pad and recently gave two of them to her goddaughter, singer DIONNE BROMFIELD, to lighten the load.

A source said: “Amy was pretty upset about it because she loved them dearly, but she had to give them up.They were climbing all over the place, breeding and generally getting out of control.”The catwoman – who often refers to herself as a lioness – is clearing the decks at her home in Hadley Wood, north London, to prepare for a move back to Camden once she returns back in the UK.

Girl Donates Birthday Presents To Animal Shelter

Maley Green loves visiting animals at the Henderson Animal Shelter.So, it was no surprise to her family when Maley decided to ask her friends to bring presents for the shelter’s animals, instead of presents for herself, at her December in-door water park birthday party.

“I had a lot of stuff so I decided that I didn’t need anything. I told my friends to wait until they get the invitation in the mail and read what it says on there for the animal shelter,” said Green. From cat litter and dog food to towels and sheets, Maley’s birthday present requests were much needed necessities for the animals.

“What blew my mind was an 11-year-old coming up with this and thinking about it. I’m like, that is just too cool for the youth, to think about the animals. She brought the laundry detergent to keep them clean. She brought some food which is a biggie; keep them[animals] bellies full and keep them warm,” said Animal Shelter Supervisor, Ronnie Whittington.
